2016 Reading Resolutions

Happy New Year!

Happy 2016, my lovelies.

Thank you for your wonderful, thoughtful comments on my blog over the past year. I really appreciate your input, and your joy for reading! Thank you for sharing all sorts of fantastic book recommendations, which have led to me discovering some of my new favourite series.

To that end, I wish you a 2016 filled with excellent reading material!

For myself, I wish for the courage to DNF more books that just aren’t working for me. (Mild OCD tendencies mean that I get very uncomfortable leaving things unfinished. It bugs me no end.)

I also resolve to read more widely and more diversely – to explore other genres, authors and styles that are outside of my bookish comfort zone.

What are your literary resolutions for this year, if any?

  1. Happy New Year, Hannah! I’ve always enjoyed reading your reviews and thoughts on bookish topics. You are one of the most prolific bloggers I know. So keep being you, and have a fantastic 2016!

  2. 2015 was my year to finally conquer my fear of DNFing, and I feel like my reading life is so much better because of it! As for resolutions, I’m with you. I’d like to step outside of my comfort zone and try more genres, and I’d also like to get caught up on several UF series that my blog mates have already read. Cheers to some amazing 2016 reads! :)

    1. Hopefully I will improve this year re: DNFing. Life is too short to read bad books! I always think they’ll improve halfway through, and worry about missing out on some good ones.

      Here’s to a fabulous literary 2016!

  3. Happy New Year! <3 I think I suffer from the exact opposite problem – I can't seem to be reading enough books lately, because I keep on leaving them halfway and start new ones. It's horrible and time consuming, with no results. I guess I need to find a book amazing enough that I'll have to follow up on the cliffhangers and read till the very end. I'm hoping to read a hundred books this year. Again, have a great year, and good luck :D
